When evaluating or researching redesigners and/or real estate stagers, here are some key questions to ask (along with answers from Star Interior Solutions).

Are you professionally trained and certified?

Yes. We received our interior redesign and real estate staging certification from Interior Arrangements, Inc. in January 2005 and then completed a Master’s Course from Interior Arrangements, Inc. in August 2006. BONUS: We are award winning from IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists) – “First Place Living Room Design” in 2006 and “Best Staged Room” in 2007 and 2008 (votes from our peers and national instructors). We are also award winning from Interior Arrangements, Inc. - "Best Living Room" and "Best Accessorizing" in 2007.

Do you have a portfolio with examples of your work?

Yes. Please see a sample of our work on the Portfolio page on our website. “Before” and “After“ pictures are the BEST way to determine the quality of work. NOTE: Be sure the “before” and “after” pictures are taken from the exact same location.

Do you have a website?

Yes. Our website is information packed with: a tip of the month, a portfolio of “before” and “after” pictures, frequently asked questions, staging statistics, definition of services, testimonials, Star Interior Solutions in the news, information about the owner, etc.

May I see testimonials from your clients?

Yes. Please refer to the Testimonial page on our website for a sample of what our clients say about us.

Do you carry liability insurance?

Yes. The items in our client’s homes are just as important to us.

Do you have your own inventory?

Yes. We have an extensive inventory of accessories, artwork, greenery, etc. available for rental. We are constantly bringing in new items to keep the inventory up-to-date with the latest décor trends.

How much redesign/real estate staging experience do you have?

Since 2005, we have accumulated thousands of hours on on-the-job hands-on experience.

What services do you offer?

We offer interior redesign (home owners), real estate / home staging (home sellers), consultations and presentations. See our Services page for detailed descriptions. Rather than offer a little bit of everything, these are the services we specialize in.

What affiliations do you have?

We’ve been a member of the Interior Redesign Industry Specialists (IRIS) since April 2005, an affiliate member of the South Metro Denver Realtor Association (SMDRA) since June 2005, and an alumni member of Interior Arrangements, Inc IAI – since January 2005.

How do you charge?

We charge by the hour. On average, our team can accomplish more than most redesigners and real estate stagers in a shorter amount of time, due to our vast training and experience.
